About OBAN
OBAN is Oklahoma's Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) that is part of a nationwide organization of federally funded programs to help businesses in the local areas. These programs assist companies in locating bidding opportunities as well as the paperwork that is required in government contracting. The Oklahoma Bid Assistance Network consists of Bid Assistance Centers placed in Technology Centers located throughout Oklahoma which results in delivery of locally based training and counseling programs statewide.
OBAN coordinators can help you and your business with PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE such as marketing strategy, locating contracting opportunities, vendor registration in the CCR (Central Contracting Registration), Pro-Net, as well as HUBZone and Woman-owned businesses. OBAN will help you locate agency contacts, Commercial Item Descriptions, Wide Area Work Flow, ISO certifications.
Oklahoma's statewide network of bid centers (OBAN), located at 16 Technology Center sites, has helped Oklahoma firms gather more than $1 billion in government contracts just in the last five years.
