OBAN helping with Statewide MRO Contract

The MRO Commodity Council will be held at five (5), strategically located, Career Tech Centers during the Month of April. Our goal is to provide training on the Grainger contract, meet with end users to determine their needs, get their ideas on purchasing strategies, meet with local business and provide them with information on how to do business with the state. Amanda Spencer and Lisa Bradley, Dept. of Central Services Contracting and Procurement Officers are heading up this outreach to Oklahoma small businesses. These locations are Moore Norman Technology Center, South Penn Campus, Caddo Kiowa Technology Center, Tulsa Technology Center, Broken Arrow Campus, Kiamichi Technology Center, McAlester, and High Plains Technology Center, Woodward.

OBAN wants to invite local and small businesses across the state to attend one of these sessions during the month of April. Businesses that are being sought at this time are companies which sell construction related products. These products would be but are not limited to lumber, paint, electrical, plumbing, gravel, hardware, flooring, etc.

This should be a great opportunity to learn how to do business with the State of Oklahoma and meet p-card holders and the buyers.
